I have been a member at TCU for over 20 years and they have gone down hill so much. They do not care about their members anymore, and treat them so poorly. They took a check of almost $250 2xs out of my account and when I called they told me that they could not release the funds or fix that mistake until Monday. I asked for a manager, expedited it to the on-call Emergency staff which did not answer nor did they call me until Monday. When they did call they let me know that the error was on their end and they would be refunding the money and any fees that occurred in my account due to that error. Which great thanks but I had to go all weekend with out funds due to their error. Staff on the weekend should\'ve been able to fix this or the Emergency on call staff should actually pick up the phone. This is so sad how much they have declined, I will be leaving and moving to a better credit union Asap.

I have been a customer to Trustco Bank since 2012, once I lost my job their treatment to me changed even though when I tried to keep my account balanced, they started charging overdraft fees with/without reason, I am a single mom taking care of my kids on my own this did not work with them when I requested overdraft fees waiving even though I made deposit in cash to cover my account, their staff do not know to explain why the fee occurred or tell me how to avoid these fees in the future. Horrible customer service.

I had a bad experience with this bank, they charge many insufficient fund fees per day that made me almost have no money for the rest of the month due to I get only Social Security direct deposit every month that I barely can live, I moved to Wells Fargo and since then I am doing OK this means that they have a problem with their system, Thanks God I left in the right time.

I do not know how they are still operating, the branches are very quiet for customers do not want to visit due to every time they see new people do not know what they are doing and they provide no help to resolve customers issues , how they get away with that? question need an answer.

This bank is a scam rates are not the issue, after sale servicing is sucks, customer loyalty is not appreciated, employee stability is not granted, customers have to deal with new faces all the time make them feel that their preferred banker is not around to help all the time so they decide to move to another financial institutions that keep their staff longer, customers promotion money always denied for unrealistic reasons even when requirements are met make the customers frustrated. low-cost products for no customer service and you make the choice.

I am fed up with Liberty Bank as after I tried to pay for my Microsoft account which I have had for years by transferring to a different Liberty debit account. I was aware of Microsoft being denied, no big deal. No wone told me the card was on hold. So, I go to Subway for lunch only to have my card denied. First embarrassment. Go to local Liberty bank and after much fenagling was told the card was good. So, I go back to Subway to get my order, and the card was denied again even after the bank said it would work. Embarrassment #2 , Back to the bank very angry to be lied to and after more fenagling was told, again that the card would work. I was too embarrassed to go back to Subway a third time, so no lunch now I go to work until 10:00 PM. I have spent my entire morning fooling around with your bank. I do not like to be embarrassed, and I suppose you do not either. Your security process is deplorable as well as your bank. I would give zero stars if available

The Canandaigua Branch was recommended to me when I moved up from Florida.

I have to say these folks at this branch made me feel welcomed and have been wonderful in setting me up with accounts, investments, and even when I needed a notary, I was taken care of immediately.

Along with their guidance and suggestions, I feel the staff at the Canandaigua Branch go over and above to help their clients out.

I would surely recommend the LNB Canandaigua Branch to all who may be looking for a positive banking experience.

The DCU branch on Bridge St. in Lowell is the worst. There is always at least 10 people waiting in line each time I have gone there, two tellers that are slower than a snail. I have walked out several times because of this. I have driven 8 miles away to another branch and swear that it took less time than if I had stood in line. It appears that this is the only branch with this major problem, PLEASE FIX

I agree with you, I got a good lowish rate on a mortgage but I can't seem to get a statement from the loan portal

Word of caution: when CD matures and you withdraw the entire amount from the bank they will penalize you for not keeping it in this bank. They lure you in with a nice rate of return then snatch some of it away when you move it from this bank.

Been with this bank since 1980. Applied for a home equity loan and the lady trying to do it did not know what she was doing at the Diers location. I would not recommend this bank for any kind of a home mortgage. Seems to be OK for commercial lending though.

Very helpful folks working at the Bank, for both in-person and at-home assistance. I did not give a 5 Star rating because I feel the CD rate is too low and the loan rate is too high; I do go elsewhere for both.

As a member for over 20yrs, i can truly say that some of these branches are not consistent with customer service, 4.25.26 was one of those experiences where i did a withdrawal at Bridgeport Lafayette drive-thru and realized that my cell phone was not with me, so i ask politely if i can use or can someone make a call to see if my cell was at my prior destination 5miles away in fairfield because i was about 30mins from home (New Haven), the Teller (Girl with Braids) ask her Boss Maritza and she came back and Maritza said No. Surprised i parked and went in and had to plea the reasons, i understand thats not their priority but as a human trying understand a member being stuck and a simple assistant was eye rolling..one teller perceived to make the call and said no one pickup at Dealership where i was coming from..Anyways i left and went to the Gas station and they made the call for me and Someone pickup and said yes my Cell was found, over the yrs im responsible for about 40 people joing this bank and do business, however more as times goes on i have other Facilities as my Main Bank, im very Disappointed but not surprised because over the yrs some of these workers are NOT welcoming..and as they can see my History, i diminished my appearance at Bridgeport, always had issues at this Branch, its NOTHING like John in Newhaven (Great Crew) and Milford always Great..im transparent and straight forward and im not hiding behind my words, hope Bridgeport reads this and remember, Jerks..

I’m a retired banker and BedFed reminds me of banking when I started back on the 1970’s buy with the latest technology…Their staff is very knowledgeable and customer oriented… They offer a full array of products and services…Shea is awesome along with all his staff and board member… Great job and I couldn’t be more proud to be one of their Customers… A five star bank through and through.
