Mortgage Rates Decrease on Possible Debt Deal

Mortgage rates are lower on hopeful news that Democrats and Republicans are very close on a debt deal. 30 year mortgage rates are back below 4.50% at 4.48%, down from the previous day's average 30 year mortgage rate of 4.55%. 15 year mortgage rates today are also lower on the news. Today's mortgage rates on 15 year loans are averaging 4.66%, down from yesterday's average 15 year rate of 3.72%.
