Right now on our list of 5 year New York CD rates two banks have the best CD rates. Bay Ridge Federal Credit Union and Ponce de Leon Federal Savings Bank are both offering 5 year CD rates at 2.71% with a CD yield of 2.75%. That rate is considerably higher than the current national average 5 year rate of 1.74% as reported by Monitor Bank Rates.
