12 Month CD Rates: Average Rates at 0.72 Percent and Best Rate at 1.10 Percent

Average mortgage rates have moved sharply higher the past week as bond yields moved higher but the same can't be said for average 12 month CD rates. The current average 12 month CD rate is at 0.72 percent, only 1 basis point higher than last week's average of 0.71 percent.
