Mortgage rates today on 30 year home mortgage loans increased to 3.97%, up from yesterday's average 30 year mortgage rate of 3.89%. 30 year mortgage rates bounced off of yesterday's all-time low but rates probably won't go much higher this week since 10 year bond yields are trading in a tight range. Mortgage rates today on 15 year home loans are also higher averaging 3.31%, an increase from yesterday's average 30 year mortgage rate of 3.25%.
