Highest CD Rates in New Jersey (NJ)

CD rates have been dismal for over two years now. The national average CD rates have been declining since the financial crisis and the "Great Recession".  The current national average 3 month CD rate is only 0.33 percent. 5 year national average CD rates aren't much higher. The current 5 year average CD interest rate is 2.09 percent. In the summer of 2008 you could find 1 year CD rates at banks and CD rates and CD rates at credit unions as high as 5.00 percent.
