Mortgage Rates Increase Following Bond Yields HigherMortgage rates increased in this week's mortgage rates survey following bond yields higher. In the Primary Mortgage Market Survey released by Freddie Mac, fixed conforming 30 year mortgage rates averaged 4.60% with 0.7 mortgage discount points for the week ending July 7, 2011. The previous week's mortgage rate survey had 30 year mortgage rates at 4.51% with 0.7 discount points. |
