Middlesex Savings Bank’s CD rates were recently lowered on certificates of deposit of 23 months or less. The bank’s 3 month to 5 month CD rates were lowered from 0.65 percent to 0.55 percent. Their short term CD rates still beat the national average CD rates. Since interest rates will be heading higher later this year we recommend sticking with short term certificates of deposit.
