Coming in with the second best rate on our national 6 month rate list are two banks. Giantbank.com and Colorado Federal Savings Bank are both offering 6 month CD interest rates at 0.80 percent with an APY of 0.80 percent. Giantbank.com has a minimum opening deposit of $2,500 and Colorado FSB has a minimum opening deposit of $5,000.
