ASE Credit Union Savings Account

Alabama State Employees Credit Union (ASE) is advertising several different types of share savings accounts. The types of savings accounts include a Regular Shares Savings Account, a Super Saver 09 Savings Account, Christmas Club Savings account and a Vacation Club Savings Account.

ASE’s savings account rates are not the best savings account rates around but the rates are better than the national average savings account rates and money market account rates. The credit union’s best savings account rate is on their Super Saver 09 account. The current savings account rate is 1.00 percent with an annual percentage yield of 1.00 percent.

The Regular Shares, Christmas Club and Vacation Club all have the same savings account rate and annual percentage yield. The current rate is 0.75 percent with an APY of 0.75 percent.

The current national average savings account rate for account balances of at least $10,000 is only 0.40 percent as of today. Account balances of at least $2,500 currently have a savings rate of .033 percent.
