Alliant Credit Union is offering a savings account that currently has an annual percentage yield of 2.00 percent, which is seven times the “bank industry average” according to Datatrac as of December 1, 2009. There is a $5 deposit minimum and no maximum deposit limit.

With the high yield savings account, you are given a ”convenience card” to do the following:

  • Make cash withdrawals, up to $500 a day
  • Make deposits up to $10,000 per day
  • Request balance information
  • Enjoy unlimited free transactions at Alliant-owned ATMs
  • Enjoy surcharge-free transactions at more than 80,000 ATMs, including CO-OP Network, Alliance One, CU24/CU Here, Allpoint and Bank of the West ATMs
  • Perform up to 8 free transactions per month at non-Alliant owned ATMs
