Unlike most checking account offers you don’t need to setup direct deposit or use a debit card a certain number of times per month. This $50 checking account bonus offer is only good on non-interest bearing checking accounts. Which isn’t a big deal because most checking accounts don’t earn much interest anyway.

You can also earn $25 everytime you referr a friend to TCF Bank and they open a checking account. The “Tell-A-Friend deal is only available at branch locations.

The TCF Bank offer is available to individuals and small businesses who don’t have a TCF Checking account in the previous 90 days. There is minimum deposit of $25 to open a personal non-interest bearing checking account and $100 for a business non-interest bearing  checking account.

The $50 cash checking bonus will be credited into the checking account the business day following the date of account opening. If you open the checking account online it can take up to 4 weeks for the $50 bonus to be posted your checking account.
