ING Direct Electric Orange Checking $50 Bonus

ING Direct is offering their Electric Orange Checking Account with a promotional $50 checking bonus. To earn the checking bonus you have to activate an Electric Orange Debit MasterCard and make three purchases within 45 days of opening the account. The three purchases must be signature based. On day 50 of opening your account the $50 bonus will be deposited into your checking account.

ING Direct’s Electric Orange High Yield Checking Account also has some very competitive checking account rates. The checking account rates are tiered. Checking account balances of $0 to $49,999.99 earn an interest rate of 0.24 percent with an annual percentage yield of 0.25 percent.

Checking account balances of $50,000 to $99,999.99 earn a checking account rate of 1.19 percent with an APY of 1.20 percent. Checking account balances of $100,000 or more (jumbo checking account) earn a checking account rate of 1.24 percent with an APY of 1.25 percent.
