The minimum opening deposit for this checking account is $1,000. The minimum account balance to earn the 2.02% APY is only $1.00.
The good thing about this high yield checking account is you don’t need a minimum amount of monthly checking account transactions to recieve this high yield like you would with a rewards checking account. The online checking account also includes e-statements and free ATM transactions.
Incredible Bank and it’s parent company are participatng in the Transaction Account Guarantee Program. In the program all noninterest-bearing transaction accounts are fully guaranteed by the FDIC for the entire amount in the account through June 30 2010.
This coverage under the Transaction Account Guarantee Program is in addition to and separate from the coverage available under the FDIC’s general deposit insurance rules.
