Mortgage Rates Hit Another Record Low

Freddie Mac just reported in their weekly Primary Mortgage Market Survey that mortgage rates have hit another record low.  Rates for a 30-year fixed-rate mortgage (FRM) averaged 4.78 percent and rates for a 15-year FRM averaged 4.52 percent.

As for adjustable rate mortgages, five-year Treasury-indexed hybrid adjustable-rate mortgages (ARMs) averaged 4.92 percent and one-year Treasury-indexed ARMs averaged 4.75 percent.
