Today’s conforming fixed 30-year mortgage rates have risen slightly to 5.18 percent from yesterday’s rate of 5.15 percent. 15-year mortgage rates are averaging 4.58 percent currently, up from an average mortgage rate of 4.57 percent on Monday.

Average jumbo mortgage rates are mixed today, 30-year jumbo rate mortgages are lower and 15-year jumbo mortgage rates are higher. Current 30-year jumbo mortgage rates are just under 6.00 percent at 5.99 percent, down from last week’s average mortgage rate of 6.02 percent. The average rate for 15-year jumbo mortgages is up to 5.53 percent this week, a slight increase from last week’s average rate of 5.46 percent.
Adjustable rate mortgages are lower today, current 5/1 adjustable mortgage rates are at 4.34 percent, up from the prior week’s average rate of 4.32 percent. Wells Fargo is currently advertising conforming 5/1 adjustable rate mortgage at 4.00 percent.
