Flagstar Bank and Sallie Mae Bank have the highest 12 month CD rates on our list of rates in PA. Both Flagstar Bank and Sallie Mae are offering their 12 month CD rate at 1.54 percent with an annual percentage yield of 1.55 percent. That CD rate and CD yield is almost double the current national average rates. Flagstar Bank’s minimum opening CD account deposit is $500 and Sallie Mae Bank’s minimum opening deposit is $1.

Bank of Internet currently has the third highest CD rate on our list in PA. The bank’s current 12 month bank CD rate is 1.53 percent and an APY of 1.54 percent. Bank of Internet’s minimum opening certificate of deposit balance is $1,000.

Discover Bank, American Express Bank and Tennessee Commerce Bank have the fourth highest CD rate on our list. The three banks are currently offering their 12 month CD rates at 1.49 percent with an APY of 1.50 percent.

Ally Bank and AIG Bank have the fifth highest CD rates on our list. Both bank’s current 12 month CD rate is 1.48 percent with an APY of 1.49 percent.
