Certificates of deposit are available in terms ranging between 6 months and 5 years.  The minimum balance for regular share certificates is $1,000 and the minimum for jumbo share certificates is $100,000.

The credit union’s CD rates are still competitive even though rates were recently lowered. CD rates of 6 months, 12 months and 24 months were lowered 0.10 percent and 18 month CD rates were lowered .20 percent. These rates are still higher than the current national average CD rates.
